Silicon metal 97 is a kind of low grade silicon metal. It is also called industrial silicon. Silicon metal 97 is a product smelted from silica and semi-coke in an electric furnace, and the content of the main component silicon is about 98%.
It can be used to replace the silicon metal 553 to produce aluminum, it can be also used to replace the ferro silicon in steel plant.
